*** Lead I&C Engineer *** – Kansas City

Categories: Architecture, Engineering, Utility PlantPrepare instrument installation detail drawings, location drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs in support of project. Experience with instrument piping/tubing and instrument wiring design. Some travel expected during the design and construction phase of the projects. Perform I&C design assignments applying design knowledge and exercising independent judgment and initiative. Some minor electrical design expected. Communicate with mechanical, electrical, process and other interdisciplinary design groups. Apply both domestic and national codes and standards designing to specific state, local, and contract requirementsRequirements:INtools, MicroStation and PDS experience with 5+ years of instrumentation design preferably in the power industry. Can read and interpret P&IDs. Proficient with MS Office applications. Solid working knowledge of I&C design products for power industry. Strong English speaking skills are required.
